The Weaverville Fire Department will be conducting a live-fire, training, session in the area of 1019 Main Street, Weaverville CA. This drill will include either partial or total demolition of buildings, by burning. This training is scheduled for the week of December 16-21, 2019.
We are informing you, of this training session, so that you will not be surprised when you see Fire Department personnel working in the area on these dates. This training exercise will produce smoke in the area. To minimize the smoke impact, we will only burn wood products; no furniture, carpeting, plastics or flammable liquids will be used in this training exercise. All buildings have been abated of known toxic materials.
